CVG has posted a new preview of BiA:EiB - featuring a large amount of new screens! Don't miss it!

 

Clearly, the single-player game has pushed ahead into some exciting new territory. The gameplay promises to be far more lively and unpredictable than the first outing, bringing the series that much closer to its famous claims of authenticity.

IGN has posted a new preview of Earned in Blood; looks like they are as excited as we are!

 

We're still big fans of the first game and, based off of what we played in Texas, we're sure to be even bigger fans of the sequel.

The new game will attempt to improve on the original game in every conceivable way by including better squad tactics, smarter enemies, more weapons, and all-new battlefields.

Another aspect that I noticed was that the levels were much more open, and allowed more on-the-fly strategic opportunities.

Thanks to Col. Antal, one aspect that the Brothers in Arms series does a phenomenal job of is replicating real squad based combat and tactics as used in WWII. This was fleshed out in Road to Hill 30 and has been expanded in the sequel, both in Allied and German forces.

Earlier this year, Ubisoft released Gearbox's Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, quite possibly the best WWII first-person shooter to hit consoles. The game combined a highly cinematic experience with a revolutionary squad command system, somehow managing to make complex troop movements seem easy.
