It's literally as if Gearbox went into as many arbitrary forums as they could, read complaints on the original title, and studiously took notes.

Gearbox has made a commitment to help our audience live the life of a paratrooper. Sgt. Baker's story is not over. Sgt. Hartsock's story is not over. For people that care about these characters, as we do, continuing the story is VERY important.

Last night, as many of you know, we held the Liberation party to celebrate Brothers in Arms and launch Earned in Blood. It was a great experience - the venue was packed with developers, press, and fans and the excitement was tangible. We were treated to a show by the Moulin Rouge dancers, after which Randy and the Colonel took the stage.

They talked about how excited we all are to be involved in Brothers in Arms, announced an upcoming history channel special about the game, and then showed us an exciting Earned in Blood trailer - this game is going to be amazing.

The real icing on the cake, though, was a technology demo of (you guessed it) Brothers in Arms 3! We were shown unbelievable in-game renders of a tank and character model as Randy explained to us the incredible things that the Unreal 3 engine can do. Then, as if that weren't enough to get us excited, Randy showed off a video of a gameplay sequence!

check the press release page for the BiA 3 announcement; I'll be posting pictures and more info about the party as soon as I can!

Tomorrow night (Thursday, September the 22nd), prepare to be liberated as Gearbox celebrates the newest Brothers in Arms title, Earned in Blood AND releases exclusive details about Brothers in Arms 3!

There will be live entertainment, food, drinks, exclusive announcements, and great door prizes to boot! If you're near the Dallas area or just want to check it out, visit the RSVP page!

Everyone from the general public to developers from many game studios (including Ritual Entertainment, Ensemble Studios, Terminal Reality and more) will be in attendance - don't miss it! If you have to, stay tuned here for coverage on Friday!
