Bio
I decided to get into games after I realized that academic Archaeology was not for me. I like to think my BA in Anthropology helps me understand gamers more, who knows. I then interned in QA at EA in San Mateo for two summers while starting to study CS. During that time I also was making a rather involved singleplayer experience in the Half-Life engine. That got me a job at Irrational Games and I promptly quit school to pursue it. After a couple of canceled games that I worked on as a level designer I finally shipped my first game after being in the industry for 5 years. That title was SWAT 4 and I was the Lead Designer. I was then the Lead Designer on the highly acclaimed BioShock before coming to Gearbox.
