Advice
Resources I would recommend for those interested in getting into game development (books, tutorials, sites, etc)
As cliche as it sounds, talk to real people who have worked on games whenever you can. Especially if they have been in the industry for many years.
Anyone can offer advice, few people offer good advice better than those with real experience, especially those that have been around for a long time.
