Pat began work level designing by scripting Warcraft and Starcraft levels, but it wasn't until he played Action Quake 2 that he discovered the real deal was with FPS gaming. Thus, he began work designing levels for Counter-Strike and a myriad of other HL mods before settling on Day of Defeat. He eventually wound up at Gearbox in 2004 as he began working on Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30. In his free time he paraglides with pterodactyl of the coast of Panama.
