Corrinne Yu had worked in many programming and management roles in game companies, from Lead Systems (3D Engine) Programmer to Director of Technology. She had worked for game companies old and new from ION Storm to 3D Realms. She had programmed for many styles of action games from military sims like Spec Ops: Rangers Lead the Way to RPG's like Anachronox. She had programmed on many 3D engines including a cross platform 3D engine for Spec Ops. Her game jobs before Gearbox had focused in technology, system and 3D engine programming. Her specialist programmer job is to develop or adapt graphics, threading, animation, map preprocessing, art path and any other technology for Xbox 360 and Vista DX10 platforms on all announced and unannounced Gbx games; but she will likely get involved in research and development that dovetails directly into the needs of Gearbox.
