I had my first job when I was 15 years old. I would help my father with his paper route. That's about the time I realized I was a worker ant. I started my carrier path working as a bell hop at a hotel while I attended high school in Richardson Texas. I could not afford collage so I went to work full time at the hotel right out of High school. I excelled in the hospitality industry and was appointed an assistant general manager position by the time I was 19. I quickly found that that position was very demanding and had me working 13 hour days and sometimes months without a day off.

I was still young and saw myself becoming this bitter old man who worked all the time and never had any fun. So I soon left hotels to work in the wonderful world of tech support "sarcasms". I spent a number of years taking tech support calls before realizing that I interact with people better in person rather than over the phone. So then I went to manage a retail clothing store located in Willow Bend mall called Pacsun. I think everyone should work in retail at least once.

At this time I had a friend that had the best job every testing games for Gearbox Software. So I took a leap of faith and a pay cut to go test games as a contractor. Well as I mentioned before I am a worker ant so I did what I do best and worked my thorax off. I was able to secure a full time test lead position with Gearbox Software. This is the greatest job any game lover could ever dream of. So after a winding carrier path I have finally found my calling.
