Leo S
Bio
Leo comes to the Gearbox family after an illustrious simmering in such exotic places as Memphis, Nashville, and several esoteric corners of Middle Tennessee. After taking the seven-year scenic route through undergraduate college, Leo finally squeezed a magna-cum laude physics degree from his friendly MTSU Physics and Astronomy Department. A brief detour through Vanderbilt to complete half of a Masters degree finally spurred him to Texas, his new-found home. During his physics and computer science training, he developed a suite of Java tools and applications designed for physics and math education, but fell in love with the field of Computer Graphics. He contributed as a contractor to Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood, and now spends his days in the trenches doing battle with the likes of vertex buffers and deformable meshes. When he is not learning computer languages of various sorts, he spends time with languages of a different sort.

He plays piano, guitar, and drums, and he writes music for all three. In fact, Leo's first exposure to games came during high-school when he wrote a third of the soundtrack to Final Doom. If there is still time left in the day, he dabbles in Japanese and Persian (Farsi), the language of Iran.
