In 1993, a civil war broke out between the super-soaker and the garden hose factions. The conflict lasted almost two years. During that time, Scott learned the art of setting traps around the porches and decks of the enemy?s living space. Cries rang out as water balloons burst on the dry clothes of the enemy. During the summer of 1995, the final battle took place. Over twenty fighters from each faction took formation on their side of the street. There was no mercy shown that day. High-power water jets could be seen for yards as each faction let loose and tried there hardest to stop the enemy from crossing the street. The efforts of those who tried to cross were instantly destroyed. No one seemed to be winning in the chaos that took place. After hours of fighting with no apparent winner, both factions decided to call a truce. This officially ended the battle for Hartford Lane.
