Paul H: Fallout 3
Mark F: Braid
Simon H: Dead Space - had a LOT of fun playing that one. It might have been GTA 4 if the driving controls had been better.
Matt C: Smash Bros Brawl.
Kyle P: Dead Space. Dead Space! DEAD SPACE!!
Kale M: Fallout 3 (although De Blob and Mirror's Edge were both close contenders).
Jim S: The Witcher. Persona 3.
Dave C: I'd have to say Left 4 Dead. Honestly, it's really surprising to me as I really didn't follow the game much before release, and I probably would have delayed buying it if wasn't for everyone around getting so excited about it. Valve's really got a magic touch. Honorable mentions go to: Battlefield: Bad Company, Fable 2, and Mirror's Edge.
Ryan F: Fallout 3 because I spent more time playing this than anything else. Braid was a close second because it was so damn good.
Scott V: Dead Space

Mark F: RE5
Simon H: Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5 - I loved the last game for both, and it looks like the sequels are getting the attention they deserve. The Conduit, Rage, and Ghostbusters all look cool from a tech standpoint. And I'm very curious about Halo Wars...
Matt C: Mass Effect 2, Resident Evil 5, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Kyle P: Bioshock 2, Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, and Beyond Good and Evil 2 (fingers crossed).
Kale M: Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Ghostbusters, Madworld, The Conduit, and all the Fallout 3 DLC.
Jim S: Mass Effect 2
Dave C: I can already see this year is going to be hard on my wallet! Hopefully at least some of these will end up being on our game of the month list so I can get them reimbursed. My number 1 game for this year is probably the recently announced Battlefield 1943. I just hope they don't water it down too much to appeal to the console crowd. Battlefield: Bad Company is great for what it is, but I expect more depth when it comes to my PC battlefields. Others in no particular order: Halo Wars, Assassin's Creed 2 (maybe it'll be more than a shiny tech demo this time?), Bioshock 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Wii Punch Out.
Ryan F: FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2* (It'll be out by the time anyone sees this)

Paul H: S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl
Mark F: Fable II
Simon H: Let's see - The latest Bond game, Metroid Prime Corruption, the FEAR expansions, Hellgate London, and Battlefield Bad Company. I need to go back and finish Shadow of the Colossus, too.
Matt C: GTA4, Dead Space
Kyle P: Final Fantasy XII, Rogue Galaxy, Mass Effect, and...pretty much every other RPG I've bought within the last four or five years.
Kale M: I still haven't finished Gears of War and I need to play Gears of War 2; I still have a lot more achievement points to milk out of DiRT.
Jim S: Maybe one day I'll really put my back into Morrowind.
Dave C: Braid, God of War 1 & 2, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Metriod Prime 3
Ryan F: I don't have a stack but my Amazon wishlist has Dead Space and Far Cry 2.
Scott V: Someday I'll finally hit 80 in WoW.

Paul H: X-Com: UFO Defense.
Mark F: A true Wing Commander remake / update; not just an XBLA game sporting the Wing Commander name.
Simon H: It seems like all the popular game franchises are all pretty-well mined if they have any success. I would like to see a new Metroid side-scroller for the DS/iPhone, and I always wanted better games based on Tron, Ghostbusters, and GIJoe, but it looks like we are getting all those pretty soon - hopefully they won't suck.
Matt C: Super Mario RPG
Kyle P: Thief.
James C: Battle Toads!
Kale M: Kid Icarus.
Jim S: Herzog Zwei. Panzer Dragoon Saga. A real Shining Force sequel, not this chump-town poor-man's-diablo drivel.
Dave C: The only answer: Final Fantasy 7
Scott V: 10 Yard Fight

Jonathan H: Bang! (It's a Cowboy Western card game)
Charlie W: Doctor. Oh... I mean "Operation"... yeah... that's what I meant.
Rick J: F.I.T.S. ( Fight in the Skies ) / Dawn Patrol. A board game about WWI airplane combat. Played it from about 1987 til a few years ago, and have pilots which have survived ( i.e. not wounded / killed / crashed / fell out of the plane ) over 40 individual games.
Martin S: Any drinking game.
Andrew W: Does college football count?
Leo S: Gang of Four - A card game by Days of Wonder
Jim S: Dungeons and Dragons is the quick (and truest) answer but I also remember so many awesome evenings playing Space Hulk. At my last job I tried to find a way to quit work and become a career Dungeon Master. Five games a week with five players per party, 10 bucks per session payable in advance non refundable monthly installments seemed like what the market would bear. I'd have to live in a box of ramen noodles though.
James F: Chess.
Jeramy C: Go.
Patrick D: When my family gets together on holidays we almost always play a card game called "Up and Down the Ladder". However, my favorite experience playing a non-video game was when I was ran a Dr. Who role playing game in college. It was a last minute thing, so I had a day to put together a world for people to play in. I think I did a decent job.
Paul H: I spend hundreds of dollars a year to play ice hockey so I'd have to go with that.
Jim S: Dungeons and Dragons..yes I am a geek. But tell your Mom you can make a living doing it just ask Bill Gates.
Scott V: Basketball if sports count, otherwise, I really enjoy Axis and Allies.
Jason M: To Play - Poker; To Watch - Football
Jean S: D&D is the only non-video game i've played.
Chuck W: Beer Pong
Keith S: Life. Not the board game.
Rosalie K: Backgammon!!!
Lee A: Any drinking game at the Aliens Team Household
Simon H: Midget wrestling with my 10-month-old
Mark K: I like puzzles. Metal puzzles, puzzle boxes, etc.
Kale M: Does pinball count? And if so, then the answer would be Gottlieb's "Genie" machine (1976)....but in the event that pinball is an invalid answer, I guess I'd have to say Stratego.
Jason S: Best childhood memory goes to Feudal. These days probably Chess.
Trevor C: Beer pong, but let it be known that Matt S and Calen B are total ringers, don't let those guys be on the same team.
Trey D: Dominoes
Pat K: I'm an Equal opportunity employer of many different types of Card and Board Games (Settlers of Catan, Flux)
Don E: Any card games, especially Poker.

Charlie W: They aren't appropriate for a younger audience.
Rick J: The recent scouting trip to an undisclosed city for our project was most enjoyable. As the details would give away the city, I will spare them.
Martin S: I've only just begun my Gearbox journey.
Andrew W: Hanging out and playing Wii games with about 75% of the company's level designers (at the time) the night before my interview.
Leo S: Going to Speedzone for a day of go-karts after finishing an Aliens milestone
James F: Much nerdery with the board game geeks on Friday nights.
Jeramy C: I'm about to have one when we ship Hell's Highway. :)
Patrick D: I still think back to the first company party Gearbox ever had. At that time I think there were about 10 employees and we had nice dinner at 3 Forks to celebrate finishing Opposing Force. I remember just sitting on the outside patio with a glass of port smoking a cigar with a few of the guys and it was just a relaxing time with people I enjoy working with.
Jim S: I am fairly new here so I am still working on them. It was awesome seeing Ironman, Bob Saget, and getting free games at Best Buy. Don't tell my wife she thinks I work for a living.
Scott V: Tons. A recent story would be during a GBX softball game this season, the opposing team learned that we were game developers. After the score became pretty lopsided (in their favor), the catcher for their team started yelling at us about us needing to make a softball game featuring him. He claimed he would teach all about how to play softball and what not. I couldn't help but picture him on the cover of the game, Madden style.
Jason M: Watching gbx1 beat Valve in TF2
Chuck W: Watching Ken and Joe play joust at ungodly hours of the morning.
Keith S: "hemp I an lost"
Rosalie K: The Hell's Highway UN-Beta Party at the W Hotel in Dallas. Hijinks ensued, debacles were witnessed and pancakes were ordered at 4 in the morning. Joy!
Lee A: Fighting against the Aliens: Colonial Marines team members in close combat with swords. I got attacked by 4 people at one time. Now I know what Robin Hood felt like.
Simon H: During my interview I was taken to a restaurant to meet the leads, and excused myself to go to the restroom. When I came back, the table was empty, and the waiter came up to me to tell me they'd left me with the bill. Then I saw Randy at the door laughing his ass off...
Mark K: Recording weapons and vehicles (including TANKS!) for Hell's Highway at the Museum of the American GI. Had a blast.
Kale M: If I say "No Comment" or "N/A", do I get in trouble? Or should I just plead the 5th Amendment? ;P
Jason S: I dig the company-wide meetings. Being in the loop is sweet.
Trevor C: Geez, I don't know.....it was pretty cool that one time Borderlands team had a beer o' clock.
Trey D: My first team party... Patron and lots of it.
Pat K: The Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway Beta Party at the W in downtown Dallas (well what I remember from it at least).
Don E: The parts of the Gearbox Liberation Party (Earned in Blood release party) that I remember were pretty awesome. I've also been told the parts I don't remember were good too.
What's your favorite video game character?
Jonathan H: Robo (from Chrono Trigger) or the "L" shaped piece from Tetris. He's awesome!
Charlie W: My Leeloo Dallas character I built for City of Heroes.
Rick J: Q*bert
Martin S: Black Bomberman.
Andrew W: Jade from Beyond Good and Evil
Jim S: Vyse from Skies of Arcadia. Mainly because I could really identify with his kickass attitude, and who doesn't want their own airship? I'm also down with the functional combat eyepatch. Also, I really get into being Samus Aran when I play Metrioid. Not like, "take off the power suit and sit in front of the mirror" into, but rather a ferocious burning hatred for Metroids. F those gelatinous freeloaders.
James F: Mega Man.
Jeramy C: "Smith" Iolo's talking horse from Ultima 6.
Patrick D: I'll go with Cloud from Final Fantasy VII.
Kyle P: Hamlet from Illusion of Gaia
Paul H: Currently it's the Heavy from TF2, after that probably SHODAN from System Shock 2
Jim S: That is a tough one, but I would have to say Duke from Duke Nukem. Hail to the King Baby!
Scott V: Probably still Duke. He was such a bad ass.
Jason M: GLaDOS
Jean S: I like any character i can customize my self and have creative control over in the game.
Chuck W: Sniper from Team Fortress 2... I think his mate saw me.... Yes, Yes he did.
Keith S: BODNAR!
Rosalie K: Any character I can create in an editor and get attached to...and Kratos. Hee.
Lee A: Altaïr (Assassins Creed) Ubisoft's new IP hero/killer
Simon H: Samus Aran, Simon Belmont, or Duke Togo
Mark K: Locke from FF6. The thief... err... TREASURE HUNTER
Kale M: Samus Aran. She doesn't talk much, she's incredibly flexible, and she's really hot under all that armor.
Although I really prefer the green hair of the original 8-bit sprite.
Jason S: Maybe Quistis from FFVIII.
Trevor C: Alucard from Symphony of the Night.
Trey D: Archangel Tyrael from Diablo II
Pat K: Koopa Troopa

Tu B: Movies industry
Charlie W: I'd be squirreled away doing some form of scientific research.
Rick J: In 8th grade, we did one of those career idea test things. I was destined to be a Forest Ranger.
Martin S : Drunk or International Assassin, or a dream job Drunk International Assassin.
Andrew W: English teacher or drumline instructor.
Leo S: Orchestral cello player
Jim S: I'd be a meteorologist. Weather has always been fascinating to me, growing up in a peninsula of constant hurricanes, roiling oceans and awe inspiring thunderstorms. That, or a freestyle lyricist.
James F: Super-scientist. Research machine simulation of consciousness, anti-gravity, superliminal temporal and dimensional travel, genetic engineering, especially longevity and benign mutation, etc. in a creative laboratory setting. Or, maybe just do the adventurer-for-hire thing for a while, traveling the Japanese countryside, getting into ludicrously unlikely situations.
Jeramy C: Photographer
Patrick D: What would be interesting to do would be building custom cars or motorcycles.
Kyle P: Rock star
Paul H: I'd probably be dirt poor as a contract field archaeologist, which I did for a couple summers when I was in college.
Jim S: I would work as a Special Effects Artist in Hollywood, creating CG and traditional FX.
Scott V: R&D involving hardware and software design. There's nothing more enjoyable then building the hardware and then writing code for it.
Jason M: Profesional Student
Jean S: Probably be into fitness training since i like that kind of thing as a hobby.
Chuck W: I would drive and Ice Cream truck....
Keith S: This seems like a question that answers itself, unless of course I wanted to do a different job even though I am in the games industry, so I'm going to have to go with my dream job of "Therapeutic Breast Masseuse."
Rosalie K: Theatre, dance, clothing design...all of the above!
Lee A: I would probably have gone into character animation, having had 5 years of character animation experience prior to becoming a level designer. (oh no, Gearbox knows I know how to animate)
Simon H: Toy line director at Hasbro - or maybe at Lego
Mark K: Still sound design, maybe for film. I love making noise.
Kale M: If I hadn't been so unhealthily obsessed and infatuated with video games my whole life, I'd have probably gone into criminal law and been a prosecutor......
Jason S: Film and Music
Trevor C: I always wanted to be some kind of rock star, like Jason Sheilds.
Trey D: Engineer Designing Amusement Park Rides / Water Slides
Pat K: College Professor in History or maybe just a defender against the Wild Moose Infestation from Canada
Don E: I'd like to get paid to learn things.
This is an ENORMOUS Ask Gearbox - we're growing and we love to answer questions. Without further ado, it's time for Ask Gearbox Vol. 4!!!

What game are you most looking forward to this year?
Simon H : Bioshock (now that GTA 4 has been delayed)
Jason O : Bioshock, though Assassins Creed is really close.
Kale M : Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Kyle P : Rock Band
Ryan C : Halo 3. Assassin's Creed.
Patrick D : It's a tough choice, but I'll say Mario Galaxy.
Keith S : Halo 3
Randy P : The Legend of Zelda: The Phatom Hourglass
Scott V : Rock Band and Halo 3.
Ryan F : either Metroid Prime 3 or Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Eli L : honestly nothing this year...looking for Resident Evil in '09
Andrew W : Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Ace Combat 6, Halo 3
David C : John Woo presents STRANGLEHOLD
Brian T : It as GTAIV, but now I guess I'll go with Assassin's Creed
Pat K : I was going to say GTA IV, but since it got pushed back I am going to have to say Rock Band.
James C : Bioshock
Patrick B : Diablo 2
Graeme T : Crysis and Assassin's Creed
Don E : Puzzle Quest for XBLA
Erik A : Bioshock. August 21st, baby!
Clancy P: Guitar Hero III
Mark F : hmmmm ... Team Fortress?
Tatum T : GH3
Cynthia G : Guitar Hero 3
Mark K: Metroid Prime 3
Charlie W : It used to be GTA4. I really want to look forward to Resident Evil 5 this year as well, but no luck. I guess Rock Band now, though I know the roomies are gonna want me to be the singer all the time.
Ben W : Mario G.
Evan B : Starcraft II - Ok it's probably going to be out next year, but I want it this year.
Chase S : I'm most looking forward to Valve's Portal. It is a great idea and should be loads of fun to play.
Ennui : Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, Metroid Prime 3

What's the first console you owned?
Simon H : Atari 2600 VCS - we were the first kids on our block to get one (only time THAT ever happened)
James F : Atari 2600
Jason O : Intellivison, Dracula and Pitfall are burned into my brain.
Kale M : Atari 2600
Kyle P : NES
Ryan C : NES
Patrick D : I'm going to go old school here. I had a Telstar. http://www.gameconsoles.com/telstararcadehome.htm
Keith S : Sears Telegames (a Sears-branded Atari 2600). I had a dedicated pong console before that, too.
Randy P : Atari C-380
Scott V : Atari 2600
Ryan F : NES, although my dad had one of the original pong consoles
Eli L : a Sears clone of the Atari
Andrew W : I got a late start: Gamecube in early 2004.
David C: Pong
Brian T : NES (the cool package with the Power Pad)
Pat K : NES, I still remember the family talk about the rules of how much game time we were alloted and homework had to come first.
James C : NES
Patrick B : Atari 2600
Graeme T : Nintendo Entertainment System
Don E : I owned an Atari 800XL, it's sort of a console/computer in one
Erik A : NES. Duck Hunt was my first foray into simulated violence.
Clancy P: NES
Mark F : It was some sort of console that had round paddles for controllers and played Pong and some Pong variants. No idea what the name was.
Tatum T : Atari, but the first one I purchased with my own monies was PS2
Cynthia G : NES
Mark K: 2600
Charlie W : Atari 2600
Ben W : Atari 2600 baby
Evan B : Pong
Chase S : Nintendo Entertainment System
Ennui : Atari 2600
Have you ever worked on any mods for a game?
Simon H : Lots of Doom maps, and some Half-Life/CS stuff
Jason O : Worked on a lot of Duke3D, Quake2, and Unreal maps.
Kale M : Dangerball '77 (UT2k4), Grimoire (HL2/Source)
Kyle P : Toybox Heroes for Half-Life 2 and Element for UT2004, as well as a few embarrassingly bad map packs for Unreal 1 back in the day
Ryan C : Quake 3 mod called Hyperball.
Patrick D : Being a coder, I made one Quake code mod, and updated another. The one I made was something I called the holoclone. A player could throw it out and run around within a certain range as the clone to explore ahead. If another player shot at it, it would blink a bit so that the player shooting at it would know it was not real. Of course, the risk was that your real body was left behind unattended.
Keith S : I worked on Duke Nukem 3D Plutonium Pak, does that count? I released a couple of maps for Unreal way back when.
Randy P : Yes - Too many to list, starting with stuff like ACS and RDS.
Scott V : Duke3d, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Half-life, World of Warcraft
Eli L : nope...sorry
Andrew W : made the maps ns_eclipse and ns_veil for Natural Selection, a track for Half-Life Rally, and led the unfortunately ill-fated Nightwatch until I was hired by Raven.
David C : Nope. Started making games before the mod scene came about.
Brian T : I worked on Counterstrike and Half Life Rally
Pat K : I worked on Counterstrike, Day of Defeat, and some mods that died before ever taking off.
James C : None, but a few maps back when Quake was pretty new
Patrick B : A few mods for vairous games, none released. A few SOF2 maps, and a UT2003 map.
Graeme T : I made a map for Gloom back in the day.
Don E : I think one time I used DeHacked to make my plasma rifle shoot Commander Keens.
Erik A : Nothing big, nothing final, nothing really good enough to make public.
Clancy P: Yes, but for a Guildhall project.
Mark F : My very first (and very bad) character model was used in a western UT99 mod that I forget the name of. I also made and released a Halo CE map.
Cynthia G : I used to make WarCraft II maps back in the day. If that counts. =)
Mark K: I created sounds for GoldenEye: Source and Neverwinter Nights: Wyvern Crown of Cormyr
Charlie W : I worked on several addons for games like Duke 3D, Shadow Warrior, Blood, and Redneck Rampage. Before doing that, I wrote some cheesy programs that let people mod Duke 3D more easily than by hand.
Ben W : original UT and HL, UT2004 and HL2
Evan B : I created over 60 ships for Star Fleet Battles, and made a 3 level map for Age of Wonders. I Created Spanish, Myan, Aztec, and Incan warriors for Myth II and built a custom RTS combat map with these units. I made some mods for games I worked on professionally but that probably doesn't count.
Chase S : I've developed several gametypes for Tribes: Vengeance including Team Rabbit, LT, and Find and Retrieve. In addition, I created a number of tools and even an anti-cheat for the game. What can I say? I'm a sucker for jetpacks.

How many hours a week do you play games?
Simon H : As many as I can squeeze in! Stupid sleep keeps getting in the way!
James F : 20-30
Jason O : Only about an hour a night during the week but I try to make up for lost time on the weekends.
Kale M : Not nearly as many as I'd like...
Kyle P : Probably somewhere between 10 and 20...but maybe twice that when I'm into a good MMO
Ryan C : Way too many. But not quite enough.
Patrick D : It seems to be diminishing with various new hobbies, but I still try to get as many hours as I can. It probably works out to be 6 or 7 hours a week, but can get as high as 25.
Keith S : If I'm lucky, I'll get 2-3 hours per day in.
Randy P : 40 to 60
Scott V : I would guess 10-15 hours.
Ryan F : I raid 5 nights a week for roughly 4 hours, so that's 20 there. On top of that I put in around 5-10 hours playing other games. oh god why am I admitting this?
Eli L : 4 if i'm lucky that week
Andrew W : At least a few here and there, sometimes as high as the 20s depending on work, whether my wife and son are in town or otherwise occupied, and if there's been anything I just picked up that's super awesome.
David C : 25+
Brian T : Not counting time at work, probably only 1 to 2 hours the entire week. I try to fill my outside life with non-video game stuff as much as possible.
Pat K : I might get 1-2 a night and then depending on the weekend a couple hours more.
James C : Now that I have a gaming quality pc again, I'm pushing 20+ hours
Patrick B : 20-30
Graeme T: Fluctuates with work schedule, probably still 20 or so.
Don E : It feels like I play about 5 hours a week... but according to the clock I play about 25.
Erik A : Actually, probably only 10-15. Lame, I know, but hey, I'm busy.
Clancy P: 30+
Mark F : As many as I can squeeze in between my job and a wife and kid. I would guess probably <8 hours a week these days
Tatum T : probably about 6
Cynthia G : As many as I can, usually 12+ a week
Mark K: Lately 5 or less, not counting work. I'd prefer it to be 10 - 20.
Charlie W : What are you talking about? Being a game developer is all about playing games all day right? Must be somewhere around 42,000. Or 10. Somewhere in there.
Ben W : not near as many as I would like, but I have kids so I am working on starting my own gold farming business...get back to work boys or no dinner!
Evan B : About 7.
Chase S : Not enough, unfortunately.
Ennui : 15-25, depending on what's out and what I'm into that week
What is your favorite cartoon?
Simon H : Cowboy Bebop, if anime counts - Transformers (80's G1 version) if it doesn't
James F : Samurai Champloo
Jason O : TMNT, I grew up with it and I'm still a fan.
Kale M : Invader Zim
Kyle P : Futurama
Ryan C : G.I. Joe and Thundercats
Patrick D : Futurama
Keith S : It's hard to declare a favorite. I really liked the original El-Hazard, I guess.
Randy P : The old Bugs Bunny stuff - The one where he plays Hungarian Rhapsody with the mouse...
Ryan F : does The Simpsons count? if not, Animaniacs
Eli L : Frisky Dingo
Andrew W : Clone High!
David C : Galaxy Rangers
Brian T : Animaniacs
Pat K : Futurama, it took off when the Simpsons started to suck. Harvey Birdman is a close second.
James C : Spawn
Patrick B : Ren and Stimpy
Graeme T : Jem, I mean... Sealab
Don E : I've got a lot of modern ones, but it's hard to top Animaniacs
Erik A : The Venture Bros. Best cartoon ever.
Clancy P: Berserk (of course anime counts!)
Mark F : The Simpsons
Tatum T : Simpsons, King of the Hill, DrawnTogether but man do I loove me some old school Looney Tunes
Cynthia G : Either Family Guy or Futurama
Mark K: Thundercats
Charlie W : South Park
Ben W : old school G.I. Joe, thundercats, Voltron and the like...also family guy and futurama
Evan B : The Ant and the Ardvark. The Ardvark huts bugs, I can relate easily.
Ennui : This one. (starting about 4:15 in)
What are you wearing?
Simon H : As little as possible
Jason O : Same old stuff, I need new clothes.
Kale M : Flip-flops
Kyle P : Shorts, sandals, and a Motion City Soundtrack t-shirt
Ryan C : Shorts. T-shirt.
Patrick D : Sandals, jeans, t-shirt. Just boring stuff.
Keith S : Old Spice anti-perspirant, original scent
Randy P : Shorts
Scott V : Baseball cap, tshirt and shorts.
Ryan F : shorts and a t-shirt
Eli L : a shirt that explains how sporks are made, jeans, socks with skull and cross bones and boxers with robots on them.
Andrew W : http://store.valvesoftware.com/img/productpage/getthegear/Zoom_HL2DMShirt.jpg
David C : ummm, underpants... a pair of glasses and an artificial leg
Brian T : The last of my clean clothes since I haven't done laundry in two weeks
Pat K : Like Brian, the last of my clean clothes. I only realized last night what a pickle I was in.
James C : Texas summer stench (my car has no a/c)
Patrick B : A sock...
Graeme T : Flip flops, the rest I'll leave to your imagination.
Don E: A smile
Erik A : Shirt and pants. Wait. Yes, pants.
Clancy P: Something black
Mark F : horts, t-shirt, sneakers, grease
Tatum T : tshirt, jeans and flip flops and I must mention that they are the *coolest pair of flip flops EVER! (bottle opener on the bottom) Drinking and walking is totally acceptable. 3 rings, my watch, earrings... this is an open ended question
Cynthia G: Jeans, T-shirt, Reefs (pretty much what I wear every day)
Mark K: Black shirt, black pants
Charlie W : I'm VPNing in from home and just got out of the shower. ...I'll get dressed before I show up to work. I think.
Ben W : a smirk
Evan B : Gearbox Shirt, Gearbox Hat, normal pants, normal shoes.
Chase S : I'm wearing something very dear to me; tucked into the river's bend, was the object of my search. The Chiang Mai river market. Fabrics and spices traded under a starlit sky. It was there that I discovered the Pamplona Beret. Sizes 7 1/2 to 8 3/4. Price: $35.
Ennui : shirt featuring Don Hertzfeldt art, other things.
Well, thanks for reading! Stay tuned for the next exciting edition of Ask Gearbox, and don't forget to discuss this transmission on our forums !
In this edition of Ask Gearbox, we've asked the Gearbox employees some of the toughest (and most contentious) questions you can ask a gamer. Our questions are: "360, PS3, Wii, or PC?", "DS or PSP?", and "What is your favorite game genre?". Read on to see the answers!

Don E : Yes.
Ryan C : Tough choice between the 360 and the Wii. I'd say Wii for party/group games. 360 for everything else. Of course, there's always the PC for RTS and MMOs. I think I'll go with "Not PS3."
Erik A : 360. Most definitely. It's where I spend about 70% of my play time, the remaining 30% divvied up fairly equally between my PS2, Wii, and PC. PS3 gets no love from me.
Kyle P : Wii60
Cynthia G : PC. I had a few consoles prior to owning a PC, but PC games are what REALLY got me interested in gaming.
Josh P : 360 - by far.
Andrew W : For me, the 360 for Gears, Crackdown, Halo, and the online experience, PS3 for whatever Insomniac and Naughty Dog do plus the eventual God of War III, Wii for Zelda, Mario, and the family/friend experience, and the PC for WoW and the true home of the FPS and RTS. I think gamers who can reasonably afford to do so can find good reasons to own them all.
Nate O : 360, Wii, and PC. These satisfy all my gaming needs. I can see absolutely no reason to buy a PS3.
Ryan F : PC and Wii
Dorian G : 360 first, followed closely by Wii
Tatum T : I'm gonna have to go with Wii, Bob, though I still dig my PS2.
Michael W : Wii & PC: Wife and Kids love the Wii, PC is mine.
Graeme T : 360 for me.
Scott V : if (group.size() > 1)
Wii
else
PC
ennui : 360, Wii, and PC... waiting on a PS3 purchase, but I'm sure I'll have reason before too long. I like to play everything.

Don E : Both (PSP doesn't have Brain Age, DS doesn't have Loco Roco)
Ryan C : DS, no question
Erik A : The DS is awesome. The PSP, not so much. While the DS has tons of games, the PSP has so very few.
Kyle P : DS. I'll support whichever platform brings the old school Castlevania action.
Cynthia G : DS!
Josh P : Don't have either.
Andrew W : DS for quirky and/or unique awesomeness like Cooking Mama or Hotel Dusk, PSP for that big-budget home console feeling on the go with games like Daxter.
Nate O : DS by far. Even my mom can play. New Super Mario, Mario Kart DS, Tetris, and Bomberman. Enough said.
Ryan F : DS
Dorian G : Both, but of course DS is champion
Tatum T : DS - I had to pry it from both my sister and my grandma's hands! (my grandma was hooked on sudoku and wanted to buy a DS just for that!)
Michael W : Neither.
Graeme T : DS for sure, it makes games simple again.
Scott V : DS *sigh* I had so much hope for the PSP...
ennui : DS

Don E : RPG or FPS
Ryan C : RPG
Erik A : Action/Adventures, RTS's, and FPS's, in that order. RPG's used to be at the top, but who has time for those anymore?
Kyle P : Sandbox
Cynthia G : oooh. Toss up between RPGs and rhythm games (GH!)
Josh P : Action/stealth
Andrew W : My preference is a toss-up between first-person shooters and modern 3D platformers, with Blizzard/Relic style RTS falling a close third.
Ryan F : FPS or RPG
Dorian G : Action-adventure
Tatum T : Action-adventure
Michael W : Real Time Strategy (That's why the PC is mine)
Graeme T : 5 years ago I would have answered FPS hands down. Since then I've really broadened my horizons and been exploring other types of genres. It's refreshing to experience other types of gameplay.
Scott V : RPG, RTS, and FPS. Preferably not all in the same game ;)
ennui : Everything but realistic sports games
Welcome, gbx-ers, to the latest and greatest installment of Ask Gearbox, where the fine folks here at Gearbox Software answer your burning questions. This episode, I've taken some of the more lighthearted questions from ye olde question pool and posed them to our team. Here are those questions and their answers!

Lava lamp or disco ball?
Denise A : Lava lamp. Provides hours and hours of blobular hypnosis.
Andrew W : Lava lamp, though the day someone imbues a lava lamp with the faceted reflective property of a disco ball will be a glorious day indeed.
Josh P : That was before my time :)
Don E : Seriously, does _anyone_ answer "Disco Ball" to this question?
Cynthia G : Disco balls hurt my eyes! Lava lamps ftw!
Mike N : I don't shop at Spencer's.
Nate O : Multi-colored Christmas lights.
Jeff B : Lava lamp made from real lava.
Graeme T : Disco ball. Hands down.
Tatum T : I'm gonna have to say disco ball - I like shiny disco disco disco...
Allison B : both.

What is your favorite type of cereal? (obvious answer )
Denise A : Kellog's Fruit Harvest (peaches and strawberries) and Honeycomb
Andrew W : Frosted Mini-Wheats or Frosted Flakes. I'd jokingly suggest someone should make a "Frosting" cereal that contains nothing else, but I threw up in my mouth a little thinking about it.
Josh P : Fruity Pebbles! They always have the most difficult games on the back of the box.
Don E : Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs
Cynthia G : Lucky Charms. There is no other correct answer to this question.
Mike N : Golden Grahams. Is that a type? Did you mean brand? Is "crunchy" a type?
Nate O : That kind with clusters.
Jeff B : Capt'n Crunch with Crunchberries.
James H : Trix. And those kids should be ashamed for depriving that poor rabbit.
Graeme T : Cheerios with sugar.
Tatum T : Honey Nut Cheerios.
Allison B : Whichever one has the best prize :)

If you had a theme song, what would it be?
Andrew W : Torgo's theme; I love the idea of hobbling across a room for 5 minutes with an excruciating one bar loop playing in the background. Though jumping up onto a table and valiantly throwing my hands to my hips and looking heroically to the sky as the Remo Williams theme swells and an American flag fades over the background could also be fairly awesome.
Don E : The theme to "Airwolf"
Cynthia G : The Benny Hill theme would probably be most fitting for me.
Mike N : Little House on the Prairie, Fatboy Slim remix.
Jeff B : Kung Fu Fightin'
James H : Moon Theme - Duck Tales NES
Allison B : Flaming Lips: Do You Realize?

Denise A : Optimus
Andrew W : Not aware of anyone legally changing their name to Megatron, debate over.
Josh P : Optimus, without the lips.
Don E : Megatron. Guns > Tractor Trailers
Mike N : I have no position on this matter. Ninja Turtles > Transformers.
Jeff B : Are those condoms, or ummm, what?
James H : Both are dead, long live Voltron!
Denise A : 42 (obligatory)
Mark F : To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.
Andrew W : No talking, fix bugs.
Don E : It's a 1983 musical comedy by the Monty Python comedy troupe.
Kyle P : 43. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy meets Spinal Tap.
Mike N : Strange how this question always shows up in a series of joke responses. With that the case, I'll simply say, "toast." If you wanted a more serious answer, I would say, "If you read the meaning of life from somewhere else, it's probably not the correct meaning for you."
Nate O : Life has no all-encompassing meaning; it only has the individual, personal meaning you give it.
Jeff B : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meaning_of_life
James H : Curry. Chicken or Tim.
Graeme T : To die. :?
Tatum T : What you make of it.
Brian T : Webster's defines life as "an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction".
Allison B : Exactly.
