When we asked this question to the Gearbox community several months ago, these were some of the responses we got. It seems that, despite having no idea of our secret plan to unleash a brand new community site, our GBX-ers had a good feel for what we meant with the word. The web team took this as a sign that we were headed in the right direction, and the site you see before you is the result of a lot of hard work and love for the community. Our fans are very important to us - those who have been around for years and those who will join us as we deliver titles like Hell's Highway and Aliens - and we created this site to be a home base for present and future GBX-ers.
Your website, let me show it to you!
Gearboxity is about Gearbox's culture and community. This site delivers content relating to our games, our culture, and our community on a much more frequent basis than in the past. We have several categories of updates that I'd like to show you. You'll notice three major columns on our frontpage - let's see what they're all about.

On the left, you'll see our "Transmissions" column. Transmissions are our feature articles. You'll see everything from developers talking about our games to videos made by the Gearbox staff on many subjects. These articles are our most interesting; they're content directly from us to you, with no middle man. Next we have news - this column will keep you up to date on the latest articles relating to Gearbox. Interviews, press releases, previews and reviews, they'll all be found here in the news column! Finally on our right, we have Gearblogs. These pieces are personal blogs from employees here at the company. Ever wonder what it's like to be a game developer? Ever wonder about the people who do this job - their likes, dislikes, favorite games, recommended resources for aspiring developers? It's all here, and more. Get an inside look at Gearbox through the eyes of our very own.
There's more?!
Yes, there's more! Take a look at our left navigation bar! Here you'll see even more exciting content! You can get to the listings for all of our Gearblogs, News, and Transmissions here. You can also take a look at our talent page! Find out about Gearbox developers here - you'll see information such as their favorite games, their history, and more in our Talent profiles. We also have a section for photo albums. Every now and then we have an event with tons of pictures, and we stash them all here for you to take a peek inside the life of Gearbox. Whenever a new one is posted, you'll be sure to see a news article about it.

You can also take a look at our most recent projects. These pages will contain information and links regarding the projects we have in development, as well as a look at projects we've worked on in the past.
In our top navigation, we have our external links. You can go to our official community forums and several other off-site links, including the Gearbox Job pages.
Oh, and don't forget to subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we make a big update!
Things to come
This site is not just our site, it's your site. Through our forums, you'll have the chance to let us know what you want to see and discuss the articles we post. Not only that, but in this thread, you can give us feedback on the site - what do you want to see, what do you like, what would you change? This site is for the community, and we want to work with you to make it your home away from home. I will be reviving the community spotlight feature to point out great threads on the forums and point to interesting things the community is doing, so post on and you may get noticed! Shape the future of Gearboxity by merely participating on the forums.
This is the first iteration of the site, with much more to come. We have plans for many new features, and we want you to help us as the community grows and expands! Take a look around and make yourself comfortable - you've only seen the beginning!
Oh, I almost forgot. Here was my favorite response to "What is Gearboxity?"

Thanks, Conscars ;p
