I subscribe to Official Xbox Magazine, and each month they have a contest where you e-mail a caption for the cover art and the winner gets a free copy of whatever game it was. It's almost no effort, so I've been sending them a caption every month. My quote for the Beautiful Katamari cover won, so there's my name in the sidebar.
I was pleased to see my name in the magazine, since that's how I was informed that I'd won. As I read the rest of the page, though, I noticed that Randy (and our game, sort of) had a mention on the same page. I thought it was cool (or weird) enough to share it.

Editor's note: with help from Tatum, we were able to track down the source interview from which Randy is being quoted - an interview in Game Informer. The OXM quote is from their "Message Center" section of the magazine, where letters from the readers are printed. Since Randy's intent was taken a little out of context by the quoter, I'd like to go ahead and share the full quote with you. I'm pretty sure Randy isn't saying that all sci-fi games everywhere are devoid of any creative vision - he was expressing the immense excitement we feel to get to work with a franchise that has had such an impact on modern science fiction :)
