For those of you not familiar with Gearbox's Game of the Month club, read this article to get up to speed on the what, when, and why behind our Game of the Month meetings!

 Gearbox's featured Game of the Month for October was Valve's recent Orange Box - we discussed the new content in the box (Half-Life 2 Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal) over some delicious pizza.  Turns out that Gearbox really enjoyed the Orange Box offerings!  Thanks for a great game, Valve!  We also discovered that Gearbox has a pretty even spread of TF2 classes - maybe we should get together and organize a Gearbox vs. Community match one night!  Keep checking the forums for this, I'll see if I can drum up some interest and get a match going!

November's new Game of the Month is Assassin's Creed!  We'll be playing this game all month, and then we'll get together on  Wednesday, December 5th to discuss!  There's already a discussion thread going on our forums - once we have our meeting, I'll post up comments from the meeting in that thread.  Stay tuned to the forums for updates, and have fun playing Assassin's Creed and then discussing along with us this month!
