It recently came to my attention that in December of 2007, Gearbox sent many copies of our games to US Soldiers.  We respect the men and women who serve the US and the tradition of armed service, and wanted to share what we could with them as a Christmas gift.  We hoped the troops would like the games and enjoy the authenticity and quality we're committed to - and it looks like they did!  Not only did we receive a Certificate of Appreciation signed by the Brigade Commander, but we received personal letters from individual soldiers.  We're very happy that the soldiers enjoyed the games and are proud to support them!  I thought this letter was very nice and wanted to share it with everyone:
