One thing I'll have you all know is that Gearbox is a cool place to work. We have a fully stocked snack room, can wear what we want to work, and every day at 5pm, we get to play games with our coworkers for an hour (when you work as hard as you need to at a game company, it's nice to have these kinds of perks)! Usually this consists of people staying in their offices and playing games like Quake or TFC over the network with others - but Team Web Team had a great idea one day as we sat in the Web Cave and pondered what to do at game time that week.

We wanted to bring people from the company together at gametime to play games, socialize, and generally have a good time. Team Web Team combined three things to make our event a success - our love of pajamas, ice cream, and guitar hero. Surely no one would want to miss a chance to hang out in pajamas, eat free ice cream, and play guitar hero! Thus, the Pajama Jam was born - a tradition we intend to carry on one Friday a month until the end of time.

Gearbox is a really unique and fun place to work - where else would you be able to parade about in your pajamas, eating ice cream and playing Guitar Hero for an hour? I can't wait until the next Pajama Jam!
