Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway

Hell's Highway, which is slated for release very soon, showed off the level Baptism of Fire.  You can watch a high-quality video of the playthrough featuring Randy and the Colonel on Filefront to get a good idea of what the press were seeing.  In the video, you'll see tons of Hell's Highway gameplay.  Gamespot posted a Hell's Highway stage demo video, where writer Mike Neumann and the Colonel talk about the game and play through.  This video shows more gameplay and tactics, and even gives you a glimpse of the options available to you (mature language toggle and etc), as well as a peak at the limited edition release.  A new developers diary was posted on IGN, where you can learn more behind-the-scenes info about the game from the folks at Gearbox who created it.  This video is the second in a series - check out the first if you missed it!  IGN also posted a written preview of the game from the E3 showing.  The game earned a "Best of E3" award from gamingexcellence.com for the amazing audio - go Gearbox audio team!  Don't forget the second issue of the BiA comic is now available at comic stores near you and online from Dynamite!  Expect Hell's Highway to hit shelves near you soon!

Samba de Amigo

Samba de Amigo also made a hands-on showing at E3, and the response is very positive!  This colorful maraca-shaking rhythm game is sure to make a splash when it hits the Wii this fall, and the praise is already rolling in!  IGN and Gamespot both posted their hands-on impressions of the game from the floor, both of which are very positive.  If you've never seen the game, make sure to check out the commercial and cinematic trailers - I think you'll be surprised!  Samba will be the first game to feature DLC on the Wii platform, which was confirmed this week.  Get ready to shake, pose, dance, and laugh this fall with this unique title!

 Borderlands

Last but certainly not least comes Borderlands.  Announced last year at GC in Leipzig, Gearbox's gritty, cooperative science fiction FPS with over half a million weapons made a brand new showing for E3 this year.  Gamasutra called it the "highlight" of Take Two's E3 show - and it's no wonder.  With only a cinematic trailer released until now, the full-on gameplay shown on the floor got the attention of gamers and press alike.  Shacknews posted a written preview and several videos snagged from the gameplay presentation - make sure you check these out for the first real look at Borderlands in action!  More screenshots from the game were also released, and even Fox news was blown away by the game.  We hope this whets your appetite for the harsh, gun-filled alien world of Borderlands; stay tuned with us for more information about the game!
