What ended up being your personal game of the year last year?

Paul H: Fallout 3
Mark F: Braid
Simon H: Dead Space - had a LOT of fun playing that one. It might have been GTA 4 if the driving controls had been better.
Matt C: Smash Bros Brawl.
Kyle P: Dead Space. Dead Space! DEAD SPACE!!
Kale M: Fallout 3 (although De Blob and Mirror's Edge were both close contenders).
Jim S: The Witcher. Persona 3.
Dave C: I'd have to say Left 4 Dead. Honestly, it's really surprising to me as I really didn't follow the game much before release, and I probably would have delayed buying it if wasn't for everyone around getting so excited about it. Valve's really got a magic touch. Honorable mentions go to: Battlefield: Bad Company, Fable 2, and Mirror's Edge.
Ryan F: Fallout 3 because I spent more time playing this than anything else. Braid was a close second because it was so damn good.
Scott V: Dead Space

What games are you most looking forward to this year?

Mark F: RE5
Simon H: Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5 - I loved the last game for both, and it looks like the sequels are getting the attention they deserve. The Conduit, Rage, and Ghostbusters all look cool from a tech standpoint. And I'm very curious about Halo Wars...
Matt C: Mass Effect 2, Resident Evil 5, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Kyle P: Bioshock 2, Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, and Beyond Good and Evil 2 (fingers crossed).
Kale M: Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Ghostbusters, Madworld, The Conduit, and all the Fallout 3 DLC.
Jim S: Mass Effect 2
Dave C: I can already see this year is going to be hard on my wallet! Hopefully at least some of these will end up being on our game of the month list so I can get them reimbursed. My number 1 game for this year is probably the recently announced Battlefield 1943. I just hope they don't water it down too much to appeal to the console crowd. Battlefield: Bad Company is great for what it is, but I expect more depth when it comes to my PC battlefields. Others in no particular order: Halo Wars, Assassin's Creed 2 (maybe it'll be more than a shiny tech demo this time?), Bioshock 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Wii Punch Out.
Ryan F: FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2 FEAR 2* (It'll be out by the time anyone sees this)

Do you have an "I'll get around to it someday" stack of games? What's in it?

Paul H: S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl
Mark F: Fable II
Simon H: Let's see - The latest Bond game, Metroid Prime Corruption, the FEAR expansions, Hellgate London, and Battlefield Bad Company. I need to go back and finish Shadow of the Colossus, too.
Matt C: GTA4, Dead Space
Kyle P: Final Fantasy XII, Rogue Galaxy, Mass Effect, and...pretty much every other RPG I've bought within the last four or five years.
Kale M: I still haven't finished Gears of War and I need to play Gears of War 2; I still have a lot more achievement points to milk out of DiRT.
Jim S: Maybe one day I'll really put my back into Morrowind.
Dave C: Braid, God of War 1 & 2, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Metriod Prime 3
Ryan F: I don't have a stack but my Amazon wishlist has Dead Space and Far Cry 2.
Scott V: Someday I'll finally hit 80 in WoW.

What game would you like to see remade/updated?

Paul H:  X-Com: UFO Defense.
Mark F: A true Wing Commander remake / update; not just an XBLA game sporting the Wing Commander name.
Simon H: It seems like all the popular game franchises are all pretty-well mined if they have any success. I would like to see a new Metroid side-scroller for the DS/iPhone, and I always wanted better games based on Tron, Ghostbusters, and GIJoe, but it looks like we are getting all those pretty soon - hopefully they won't suck.
Matt C: Super Mario RPG
Kyle P: Thief.
James C: Battle Toads!
Kale M: Kid Icarus.
Jim S: Herzog Zwei. Panzer Dragoon Saga. A real Shining Force sequel, not this chump-town poor-man's-diablo drivel.
Dave C: The only answer: Final Fantasy 7
Scott V: 10 Yard Fight
